Within short distances to Teach Aisling there are numerous secluded beaches, rocky inlets and coves – ideal playgrounds for children of all, also only a 5 minute drive from the house is the fabulous Ballyhiernan Bay. Ballyhiernan Bay is home to the Adventure One Surfing School. Site seeing and Photography
Fanad attracts avid photographers with the plethora of picturesque stunning vistas on offer from the ideal long sandy beaches, rolling green fields, small fishing piers, traditional Irish cottages, rugged coastline, multitude of wildlife, the Great Pollet Arch and world famous Fanad Lighthouse. A more recent attraction is the stunning Harry Blaney Bridge over Mulroy Bay. and why not try your luck attempting to capture the phenomenal Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights), which due to the lack of light pollution in the area has been captured by other photographers, producing stunning images
